NYC Sick Leave Law to Go Into Effect as Scheduled

When the New York City Council passed the Earned Sick Time Act last May,  the effective date was made contingent on certain economic performance indicators.  The City Council just announced the economy is healthy enough for the new law to go into effect as scheduled on April 1, 2014.  Employers should create and implement their compliance strategies now.
