Matthew Chiota is an Associate at Brody and Associates, LLC, located in Westport, Connecticut. He advises clients on Labor, Employment, and Benefits law matters on behalf of Management, and highly compensated executives. His background includes both transactional and litigation experience, with prior work in business formation, contracts, corporate governance as well as commercial litigation.

Matthew graduated cum laude from Rutgers Law School in May of 2025. While in law school, Matthew wrote a note on the scope and enforceability of forum selection clauses in securities litigation that was accepted for publication. Matthew later served as the Articles Editor for the Rutgers Business Law Journal. Matthew was also a teaching assistant for civil procedure, and a research assistant related to corporate governance.

Matthew earned his B.A. from Boston College in 2018 and attended Fairfield Prep for high school.

Matthew is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and his admission to the New York Bar is pending.

Matthew is an avid golfer, maintaining a 3.7 HCP. Matthew also enjoys skiing and spending time with his family and friends.
