Catherine “Cat” Bailey is an Associate at Brody and Associates, LLC, located in Westport, Connecticut, and New York City. She counsels and advocates on behalf of management and highly compensated senior executives on Labor, Employment, and Benefits law matters. Her background includes both transactional and litigation experience, with prior work in trusts and estates, criminal defense, estate planning, probate administration, and client advocacy. She has also gained courtroom experience through internships with the Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services, assisting with arraignments, client interviews, motion preparation, and trial-evidence review.

Cat graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in May 2025. While in law school, she served as President of the Student Bar Association, Publications Coordinator for the Quinnipiac Law Review, and President of the Cannabis Law Society. She also was active in the Mock Trial Society and worked as a research and teaching assistant in tax and estate law.

She earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland and previously worked in veterinary settings, developing strong organizational and client-focused skills.

Cat was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in November 2025, and her admission to the New York bar is expected in 2026. She maintains professional memberships in the Fairfield County and New Haven County Bar Associations, and is an engaged member of the Quinnipiac Alumni Association.

In her free time, Cat enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her two cats and her dog.
