Allison E. Smith

Allison E. Smith is an Associate with Brody and Associates. Allison joined the firm full time in August 2010 and works on both Labor and Employment Law matters. Allison began working for Brody and Associates as a Law Clerk in May 2009 and continued while finishing her J.D. during the spring of 2010. She graduated cum laude from Pace Law School in May 2010, where she was an Articles Editor on the Pace International Law Review. While at Pace, she received the University Merit Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List. In May 2007, Allison received her B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College. She remains active in the Dickinson Alumni Network. Allison is proficient in French and plays the oboe and piano.
Allison is a contributing author to articles published in the Connecticut Law Tribune including “The Escalating Battle Over Health Care Legislation” – January 2011; “To Provide Health Insurance or Not” – April 2010; “Computing Income Taxes on Legal Settlements” – March 2010 and “Leftward Shift Years Away” – May 2009; and the Fairfield County Business Journal including “The New Cost Benefit Analysis for Employers” – May 2010.
